Office Bearers and Members of the Executive Committee

We are extremely glad to inform our viewers that Shatabdi has now been registered on the 18th March 2009 and renamed as Shatabdi Foundation under the Registrar of Societies Govt.Of Uttar Pradesh , Lucknow  iniatially for five years subject to renewal thereafter.

The Thirteen Member Executive Committee elected unanimously by the General Members in Annual General Body Meeting now have been registered under the Registrar of Societies with the following Office Bearers and the Members of the Executive Committee for a period of Five years.

2009-2014

Meanwhile , we noticed the ever increasing demand for various other activities to be extended by Shatabdi foundation. Considering the huge volume of Task left ahead , we co-opted another six members thereby enhancing the number to Seventeen to facilitate the working of the organization. They are as follows:-

However , we are extremely pleased to bring it to your notice that formal inauguration of our Club Premises at Ground floor of M.M.I.G.-91 Sector C Jankipuram , comprising of three rooms was held on 30th May by our President Sri Nirmal Kumar Banerjee. Over sixty members participated in this short function. in which General Secretary Shri R.R Paul applauded the support and active co-operation spontaneously extended by the Members and then requested all to extend every possible help so that more new members can be enrolled at the earliest.

Simultaneously Shatabdi Pathagar ( Library) has also been inaugurated with approximately five hundred books initially in stock. We have proposals to purchase latest Books of various interests by the end of this year. Vice President Shri Raj Gopal Banerjee has taken the charge of the Pathagar and is doing wonderful job by providing the adjacent space for reading journals and periodicals thereby serving the purpose of a Reading Room.

Besides, in-door games like Carom Boards, Chess Boards, Cards, etc have also been kept in a room for participation by the members. Shri Biswajit Chaudhuri has been in Charge of in- door Games. In view of Summer Vacation for School Students there was a demand for immediate introduction of Classes for learning Bengali. Language which is commonly known as “ Bangla Bhasa Sikhar class” Such classes have now been started with seven students at the initial stage. Smt. Krishna Paul has been assigned the duty of taking classes thrice in a week .She is doing good job.
